You will get the opportunity to join a fast-scaling startup as one of the first employees and significantlyshape the future of the company and the insurance industry .Your ImpactAsUX/UI Designer at Afori , you will own the end-to-end user experience for our AI-powered product that simplify's the brokers every day work. You will turn complex processes, insurance context, and AI-driven automations into simple, elegant, intuitive user journeys.Your work will directly shape how thousands of insurance professionals experience AI in their daily workflows; from Outlook-based inbox workflows to deep operational processes and agentic task flows.This is a role for someone who loves transforming messy workflows into beautiful clarity and designing products that customersimmediately understand and love .Key responsibilitiesUser Experience Ownership : Lead the UX/UI across our core product, from research to design to launch.Interface Design : Create simple, beautiful, intuitive designs for complex insurance workflows (email classification, automation flows, task orchestration, document insights, etc.).User Research : Run interviews, shadow brokers, and test prototypes with real users to validate assumptions early and often.Design for AI : Craft interfaces that explain AI decisions, enable trust, and empower brokers to work seamlessly with agentic workflows.Rapid Prototyping : Develop prototypes (low- and high-fidelity) to test ideas quickly with customers and engineering.Design System Creation : Build and maintain our first design system to ensure consistency, simplicity, and speed.Shipping Mindset : Work end-to-end with engineering to ensure implementation quality and iterate fast after launch.What We’re Looking For5+ yearsUX/UI design experience in SaaS, B2B, or workflow toolsStrong portfolio focused onsimplifying complex workflowsFluency inFigmaand modern design workflowsExperience with user research and iterative designComfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsNice to have:Experience with AI products or automation toolsFintech / Insurtech / CRM design backgroundBasic frontend understanding (React)Able to speak GermanWhy Join Us?Collaborate with a small team of top-tierengineers, startup specialists, and industry veteransEmbrace AI on daily basesShape the future of insurance brokingwith AI that solves real-world problems.Radical candor culture: Your voice matters, no hierarchy, just results. xsgfvud Grow with us: Competitive salary and equity stake in a high-potential AI startup.Livein Barcelona
