That’s why we’re reinforcing our Infrastructure Teamwith a Storage Engineerwho can take ownership of the implementation, optimization, and administration of our storage systems.That’s where you come in.The roleWhat are we looking for?We’re looking for an experienced Storage Engineerto join our Infrastructure team in Madrid (Plaza España HQ) .You’ll be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise storage systems(both on-prem and cloud environments), ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and data protection. You’ll work closely with our Cloud Operations and Platform teams to support the services powering thousands of users across Europe and Latin America.What you’ll own and driveImplementation & OperationsLead the deployment and configurationof storage systems (NetApp, ONTAP, FSx-ONTAP).Manage day-to-day administration, performance tuning, and troubleshootingof storage environments.Ensure data integrity and availability through SnapMirror , Data Protection , and Active-IPsolutions.Implement and manage NFS , S3 Storage , and CEPHarchitectures for scalable object and file storage.Cloud & Hybrid IntegrationIntegrate on-premises storage solutions with AWS (FSx-ONTAP)and BlueXP .Deploy and manage autonomous ransomware protectionmechanisms within ONTAP environments.Collaborate with Cloud and DevOps teams to automate provisioning and backups across hybrid systems.Optimization & Continuous ImprovementMonitor system health and capacity planning using modern observability tools.Identify areas for improvement in performance, scalability, and reliability.Document architecture, best practices, and operational runbooks.Tooling & Technologies You’ll Work WithNetApp ONTAP (OS & ecosystem)StorageGRID and BlueXPAWS FSx-ONTAPSnapMirror, Data Protection, Vserver, Active-IPNFS, S3 Storage, CEPHOn-prem and hybrid environmentsWhat will make us fall in love with youYou have between 5 and 7 years of experienceas a Storage Engineer or System Administrator.You’ve successfully implemented and maintained multiple storage cabinsand infrastructures.You hold NetApp certificationsin: 185: Physical Installations,164: AdministrationYou have deep hands-on knowledge of NetApp ONTAP , AWS FSx-ONTAP , and Data Protectionsolutions.You understand the full lifecycle of storage environments—from deployment to automation.You’re proactive, analytical, and passionate about creating reliable, high-performing systems.You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with diverse teams, and sharing knowledge.Day-to-day tasksPerform daily monitoring, checks, and maintenanceof storage systems (NetApp, CEPH, NFS, S3).Manage incidents and service requests related to storage, ensuring quick and effective resolution.Support infrastructure projectsinvolving virtualization, networks, IaaS, and DevOps.Participate in storage capacity planningand performance optimizationefforts.Collaborate with SREs and Operations teams to ensure service reliability and uptime.Conduct periodic system audits , reviewing security, redundancy, and data protection policies.Propose and implement automation improvementsto reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency.Report on KPIs and progress to the Head of Infrastructure , ensuring full alignment with team objectives.Requirements that are important for usPlease, only apply if you match these.5–7 yearsof experience in enterprise storage environments.Proven expertise with NetApp ONTAP , FSx-ONTAP , and BlueXP .Familiarity with object storage (S3, CEPH)and file protocols (NFS) .Strong background in data protection , replication , and ransomware defense .Excellent documentation and communication skills (English and Spanish). xsgfvud Availability to work on-site at our offices in Plaza España (Madrid)in a hybrid model.#J-18808-Ljbffr
