Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW. Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Madrid and are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Lawyer . Main responsibilities: · Providing legal support and legal advice to the different areas/departments of the company: Development, Construction, M&A, Project Finance, Operation and Maintenance, Finance and Administration, Asset management, etc. · Drafting, review and negotiation of contracts for the different areas/departments of the company (land agreements, grid connection, equipment supply agreements, project finance, EPC, O&M, PPA, etc. · Legal support on project finance, structured finance and corporate finance. · Corporate law. · Management of national and international law firms. Job Requirements: · Degree in Law. A Master's Degree in Business Legal Advice (máster en asesoría jurídica de empresas) is a plus. · Good command of Microsoft Office. · Over 3 years of experience in a reputable law firm/international law firm. · Full command of English.
