The Director of AI Applications at Openchip will drive the adoption of our AI technologies in real-world industries such as healthcare, cybersecurity, and robotics. This role involves collaborating with partners and customers to develop tailored AI applications while leveraging state-of-the-art AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in LLM fine-tuning, AI workflow automation, and high-performance computing applications.Por favor, lea detenidamente la siguiente descripción del puesto para asegurarse de que encaja con el perfil antes de enviar su solicitud.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development of AI-powered applications across industries such as healthcare, cybersecurity, robotics, and HPC.Collaborate with customers and partners to design and implement domain-specific AI solutions leveraging Openchip’s technology.Spearhead AI fine-tuning initiatives, working with large language models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems.Build AI agentic workflows utilizing cutting-edge frameworks such as LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methodologies.Define strategies for AI application scalability, deployment, and optimization on Openchip hardware.Bridge AI research and real-world application development, ensuring business value through AI innovation.Establish partnerships with academia, industry leaders, and research institutions to enhance Openchip’s AI capabilities.You will be reporting to the Chief AI & Software Systems Officer within Openchip.Qualifications:MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.Proven track record of leading AI application development in an enterprise or research setting.Deep expertise in LLM fine-tuning, AI workflow orchestration, and AI-powered product development.Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and RAG-based approaches.Strong understanding of AI application pipelines, data engineering, and AI-driven automation.Experience working with AI models for real-world applications in industries such as healthcare, security, or robotics.Soft Skills:Visionary mindset with the ability to translate AI advancements into real-world solutions.Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.Effective communicator with a track record of working closely with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.Problem-solving mentality with a strong focus on business impact and innovation.Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving AI landscapes.What We Offer:Join an innovative team and experience company growth.We believe in investing in our employees and providing them with opportunities for growth and career development.Work in a hybrid environment with flexible scheduling.We offer a remuneration package that values your experience.A chance to work on one of the most transformative AI and silicon engineering companies in Europe.The position will be based in Barcelona (Spain).We are looking for outstanding people willing to join our mission to change the silicon industry and help build a better world.
