About the Company We are an international technology services company founded in 1983 with more than 2,000 employees in 5 countries: France, Spain, Romania, Portugal, and Luxembourg.What We’re Looking For We are looking for a hands‑on Lead Engineer (Consultant) to support our product development and operations in Vigo. This is an interim leadership role where you will directly contribute to coding, architecture decisions, and system improvements, while also guiding and mentoring the local team.ResponsibilitiesLearn and maintain or design critical parts of the system architecture, integrations, and infrastructure.Ensure delivery execution meets high technical standards.Identify and address technical debt, system bottlenecks, and dependencies.Implement and enforce DevOps best practices (CI/CD, monitoring, incident response).Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Delivery Leaders to align on priorities and execution.Provide hands‑on coding support in backend/frontend development where required.Lead technical reviews, set coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed.Mentor and coach local engineers to strengthen team delivery capability and capacity.Stabilize operations in line with SLAs/OLAs, ensuring smooth daily product delivery.Required Qualifications5 years software engineering expertise in a technical leadership role.Strong hands‑on coding skills in Java and T‑SQL.Proven experience in system architecture and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure).Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong understanding of SQL Server.Knowledge of performance tuning, tech debt resolution, scalability, and reliability best practices.Proven ability to act as an interim leader – stabilizing teams and ensuring delivery continuity.Strong problem‑solving mindset: can diagnose issues and provide quick, effective solutions.Hands‑on leadership style – leads by example in coding, debugging, and architectural design.Excellent stakeholder management, able to work with both local teams and global leaders.Experience mentoring engineers and uplifting technical capability.Based in or able to travel regularly to Vigo, Spain.Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).Comfortable in an international company setting, with cross‑functional collaboration.Hybrid, 4 days remote / week.Flexible hours from Monday to Friday.We OfferSalary: from 65,000€Career plan tailored to employee preferencesProgression within the companyFlexible working hoursWould you like to join our team?If you have experience as a Lead Engineer, contact usSeniority Level Mid‑Senior levelEmployment Type Full‑timeJob Function Information TechnologyReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at HN Services España by 2xGet notified about new Software Engineer Technical Lead jobs inVigo, Galicia, Spain .#J-18808-Ljbffr
