This is a new position and key role as we open new markets for our poultry veterinary portfolio. Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for the sale and technical support of veterinary vaccines and other products (pharmaceuticals, feed additives…) to distributors and poultry clients across the Middle East and Africa. There is a strong element of technical support required in the role, educating and supporting clients and responding to their technical queries.
Demonstrating experience in this field will be essential. Therefore, the role will suit individuals trained as a Veterinarian or Poultry Scientist with knowledge of the industry. English is our company’s working language, but you will also need to communicate clearly in Arabic and French for this role. Any additional languages, especially Spanish, would be a distinct advantage.
You will be based at our office in Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain and the role will require extensive travel. Please only apply if you have EU/EEA/Swiss citizenship or hold a valid Spanish work/residence permit Job Description: Title: Area Manager Middle East & Africa Reports To: Sales Director Based at: Castelldefels, Spain Job Purpose: To promote the sale of products in Pharmsure’s portfolio and to provide technical support to clients on the use of these products in the assigned geographical area Key responsibilities and accountabilities Working with the Sales Director and Technical Sales Manager to: Develop and pursue sales strategies that maximize the sale of our veterinary products Provide informed technical advice on the products the business supplies, responding in a timely manner to questions and concerns from the field. Offer product training to distributors and end customers Identify new distributors and clients. Maintain strong relationships with the companies’ Distributor Network.
Represent the company at conferences and trade fairs engaging and developing relations with regional Key Opinion Leaders. Understand likely demand and contribute to the establishment of sales targets.
