Joining Gartner means becoming part of a culture that values curiosity, expert insights, bold ideas, and intellectual courage, while partnering with clients to address their most critical priorities.What You Will DoDevelop “must‑have insights” and ideas through thought leadership, offering compelling, actionable approaches that accelerate the client’s ability to act.Lead compelling interactions (virtually or in‑person) to identify root causes of a client’s barriers or overall needs and reframe thinking to drive strategy forward.Bring provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders that can evolve the research agenda.Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts to provide clients and vendors with actionable insights.Create and deliver high‑value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings.Support Research and Sales by providing sales support as the voice of the market, helping research teams create content and drive engagement with clients to achieve critical priorities.Provide high‑quality and timely research content peer review.Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner research, methodology, and strategy.Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers in the research community.What You Will NeedBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.10+ years of enterprise experience in one or more of the following disciplines:Software security / application security programsProduct security engineering programsEnterprise software engineering or software architecture programsExperience with frameworks and standards such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, OWASP Top 10 for LLMsExperience or current interest in the following research areas:Applying cybersecurity controls to AI and generative AIEvaluating technology markets that support securing AIEvaluating frameworks and standards for securing AIExcellent writing ability – must be able to create detailed but easy‑to‑understand written research to lead clients to successStrong communication skills with the ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questionsSuperior analytical skills while applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns, and defending conclusionsAbility to work independently while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborateWillingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)Who Are We?At Gartner, Inc.
