At Capitole, we are growing We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Senior Engineer to join our team.e are looking for a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to maintain and support the delivery of Microsoft 365 services.This mission covers messaging, security, compliance, collaboration, and automation, with a special focus on the M365 environment within a large-scale enterprise infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain all aspects of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, and other related services.Manage tenant configurations, licensing, and compliance settings.Develop and maintain technical documentation, High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level (LLD) designs, configuration specifications, and standard operating procedures.Provide 3rd/4th level support, manage knowledge transfer to L2 teams, and coordinate with vendors and IT personnel.Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data protection standards.Align tenant with Global IT for future migrations, hybrid deployments, and integrations.Integrate M365 with third-party and on-premises systems.Monitor service health, performance, and usage metrics.Document current configurations, operational processes, and service functionality comprehensively.Take full ownership of M365 services, ensuring operational control and contributing to a robust operating model.Required Experience5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration and engineering.Expertise in Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.Knowledge of Azure AD Connect, Entra ID, and hybrid identity models.Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Defender, Security & Compliance Center (desirable).Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).Solid understanding of M365 licensing models and app management.Strong PowerShell scripting skills.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.Deep knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, and network security principles.Experience with hybrid deployments and migration strategies.Stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.Experience with endpoint management (Intune) is a plus.Project ContextPreparing for tenant migration: (~15,000 users)Need for full documentation, visibility, and operational control of M365 services.Part of a five-person team, mainly UK-based.Focus on Level 3+ support; first and second levels are handled locally or outsourced. xsgfvud Senior role requiring technical expertise and the ability to take ownership of one or more M365 services.
