Head of Security OperationsEnvíe su CV y cualquier información adicional requerida después de haber leído esta descripción, haciendo clic en el botón de solicitud.Hybrid 3x per week in the officeOur client a global insurance business are looking for a Head of Security to join them on a permanent basis.You will help to establish and lead local security operations capability across European offices, providing strategic technical leadership in incident response, cyber threat visibility, and security resilience. This role will bridge the gap between our centralized corporate security services and regional business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesIncident Response & Security OperationsLead and mature security incident response capabilities across the organisationOversee incident investigations, alert triage, and threat hunting activitiesDevelop and execute tabletop exercises and incident response playbooksProvide expert technical guidance during security incidents and recovery effortsBuild real-time visibility into organisational cyber telemetry and security postureLeadership & Team ManagementLine manage and mentor a security engineer and future team membersStrategic & Stakeholder EngagementPartner with third-party security service providers and managed servicesAlign regional security operations with global CISO strategyOperational ExcellenceEnhance detection and monitoring capabilities aligned to NIS2 / NIST frameworksDrive continuous improvement of security tools, processes, and proceduresEnsure appropriate balance between local autonomy and corporate alignmentContribute to broader security strategy and roadmap developmentEssential RequirementsTechnical ExpertiseDemonstrable expertise in security incident investigation, detection, response, and recovery (NIST / NIS2 frameworks)Strong foundation in security operations, but with strategic vision beyond SOC alert handlingExperience with security xsgfvud telemetry, SIEM platforms, and threat detection technologiesUnderstanding of enterprise security architecture in complex, matrixed organisationsExperience & BackgroundProven track record maturing incident response and tabletop exercise programsExperience working alongside third-party security service providers and corporate security teamsIf you have the desired skills and experience and would like to find out more please apply to this advert by following the link below and attaching a copy of your most recent CV.
