AgroFresh is a fast-moving, dynamic company dedicated to delivering integrated near- and post-harvest solutions for more freshness and quality, every step of the way from harvest to home.What The Role DeliversA Staff Accountant is a cornerstone of financial operations, uniquely positioned to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of an organization’s financial data.Key ResponsibilitiesBook entries under US-Gaap and Local Gaap (various EMEA and other entities)Review of payment proposalsBank account reconciliation (Shadow/transitory SAP GL bank accounts)Account reconciliations in BlacklineReview of Intercompany ReconciliationEnsure correctness of Accounts (Accrual, prepayments, GR/IR, VAT, Payroll)Ensure proper organization of archives of your area of operationVAT and WHT filings, EC-Listings, Intrastat for different entities in EMEA and other regionsWho To Work WithCorporate FinanceSales, Customer ServiceOperationsHow We WorkAccountability for ResultsMindset for GrowthCustomer CentricityOne AgroFreshOwns the TalentWhat The Job RequiresSolid accounting experience, bachelor’s in business administration required.Strong command of Excel.Strong command of SAP (as an accountant).Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish are mandatory.
