This requires knowledge of the whole engineering process from requirements definition via concept creation, system design and software development to the testing and commissioning support.Review functional concepts and system requirements for software and hardware.Design, develop and execute vehicle tests, Hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) test or Software‑in‑the‑loop (SIL) for the TCMS software for locomotives, mainly for braking systems.Focus on the reusability of work results in terms of product and technical platform strategies.Document test specifications and results.Coordinate with other departments and project teams for cross‑functional test topics.Stay up to date on the latest locomotive control technologies, brake and drive innovations.Your qualifications - solid and appropriateUniversity degree in engineering or a related field.Several years of experience in TCMS system/software testing.Ideally ISTQB certified or equivalent and experience as a TCMS developer.Experience with railway systems and electrical interfaces.Ideally knowledge of railway brake systems.Team player with excellent communication skills.Fluently communicate in English.Open for international business travels.If we all thought the same, we would never think of anything new That’s why we recruit great minds from all walks of life.
