In this role you will focus on automating new services improving existing solutions and collaborating with other teams to understand their automation needs. You will play a key part in maintaining and evolving our infrastructure both in the cloud and on-premises.We are curious problem solvers; we collaborate communicate share knowledge and technical ideas and thrive together.We give you autonomy over the solutions you build and offer you the freedom to choose the right tools for the job.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESYou will spend time on :Automation :Design develop and implement automation solutions for new and existing services.Continuously enhance our automation processes ensuring they are robust scalable and secure.Utilize tools like Ansible for configuration management and automation.Work closely with different teams to gather requirements and implement automation solutions that meet their needs.Ensuring operational excellence of your services / applications.Collaborating and sharing knowledge with others across the group.Exhibiting passion and showing commitment to drive change.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Security :Implement and manage security best practices using tools like HashiCorp Vault.Ensure all automated solutions and infrastructure deployments comply with security standards.Version Control and CI / CD :Utilize Git and GitLab for version control and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.Programming :Write and maintain scripts and tools using Python to support automation and infrastructure management tasks.We are looking for these skills :Technical Skills :Strong experience with automation tools particularly Ansible.Proficient in Git and GitLab for version control and CI / CD.Solid understanding of AWS services including EKS and EKS Anywhere.Experience with Kubernetes including EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service) and EKS Anywhere.Familiarity with Rancher for managing Kubernetes clusters.Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.Experience working with REST APIs for integration and automation tasks.Soft Skills :Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented collaborative environment.Willingness to learn and adapt to modern technologies and processes.Our work language is English so it is important to have a proficient level both written and spoken.Another valuable knowledge :Knowledge of Cloud Computing technologies.Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.Experience with REST APIsGood understanding of multithreading and concurrencyADDITIONAL INFORMATIONMaybe you will appreciate this information :Part of Sportradar MSS Engineering (team of 200)Which is part of (team of more than 3000)We also offer :Continuous learning program with technical internals sessions for continuous improvement.Access to our online e-learning platform.Internal training sessions during office hours to learn and grow such as Coding Dojo sessions which we have to learn and share coding techniques.Additional Information :At Sportradar we celebrate our diverse group of hardworking employees.
