IMPORTANT: TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST COMPLETE THE FORM HERE: Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented Paid Social Ad Operations Specialist to join our growing paid media team. You'll work directly with our Director of Paid Social, Ana, to execute and optimize paid social campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and Reddit for B2B SaaS clients. This role is critical to maintaining our high performance standards as we scale our client portfolio.What You'll Do Campaign Execution & ManagementAunque la experiencia profesional y las cualificaciones son clave para este puesto, asegúrese de comprobar si posee las habilidades interpersonales preferibles antes de solicitar, si se requieren.Set up and launch paid social campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and Reddit advertising platformsExecute daily campaign optimizations including budget adjustments, bid modifications, and audience refinementsMonitor campaign performance and proactively identify underperforming ads for pause or optimizationConduct A/B tests on ad creative, copy, targeting, and bidding strategiesImplement technical setups including conversion tracking, pixel installation, and attribution modelingPerformance Monitoring & AnalysisReview daily performance metrics across all active campaigns and flag anomaliesGenerate weekly performance reports with insights and recommendationsTrack key metrics including CTR, CPL, CPC, engagement rates, and pipeline attributionIdentify trends and optimization opportunities through data analysisMaintain performance dashboards and client-facing reportingAudience Development & TargetingBuild and manage custom audiences using first-party data, website visitors, and lookalike segmentsCreate targeted audiences based on job titles, company size, industry, and funnel stageManage retargeting campaigns for different engagement levels and content interactionsOptimize audience targeting based on performance data and client ICP refinementsQuality Assurance & Process ManagementEnsure all campaigns adhere to platform best practices and compliance requirementsMaintain organized campaign naming conventions and account structuresDocument optimization decisions and maintain detailed campaign logsFollow established SOPs for campaign setup, optimization, and reportingCollaborate with the team on process improvements and efficiency gainsClient Communication & SupportPrepare campaign performance summaries for client callsSupport strategic recommendations with performance data and insightsRespond to client questions about campaign mechanics and optimization decisionsCoordinate with internal teams on creative asset needs and campaign requirementsWhat We're Looking For Required Experience3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, preferably for B2B SaaS companiesProven track record managing significant monthly ad spend ($50k+ per month across accounts)Expert-level knowledge of LinkedIn Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and Reddit Ads platformExperience with conversion tracking, attribution modeling, and performance measurementStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysisTechnical SkillsAdvanced understanding of paid social platforms including campaign types, bidding strategies, and optimization techniquesExperience with audience segmentation, lookalike modeling, and retargeting strategiesFamiliarity with tracking implementations, UTM parameters, and attribution methodologiesKnowledge of A/B testing methodologies and statistical significanceExperience with reporting tools and dashboard creationSoft SkillsExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneouslyStrong communication skills for internal collaboration and client updatesProactive problem-solving approach with ability to work independentlyOrganized approach to campaign management and documentationComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving prioritiesBonus QualificationsExperience with B2B SaaS marketing funnels and pipeline attributionFamiliarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and marketing automation toolsKnowledge of Clay, Fibbler, or similar data enrichment and workflow automation toolsPrevious agency experience managing multiple client accountsUnderstanding of go-to-market strategies and demand generationWhat We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experienceOpportunity to work directly with Ana, our Director of Paid Social with 8+ years of experienceAccess to cutting-edge tools and platforms for campaign management and optimizationCollaborative team environment with growth opportunitiesRemote-first culture with flexible working arrangementsProfessional development budget for continued learning and certificationsAbout Understory Understory is a specialized agency focused on paid media management and go-to-market engineering for B2B SaaS companies.
