The project goal is to assess the implantation capacity of mouse and human embryos by means of a new, non-invasive imaging technology.Our laboratory is a multidisciplinary environment where biologists, biophysicists, clinicians and business developers synergize to create a unique environment shaped by science and entrepreneurship.In our lab we use bioengineering methods to create 3D environments that support embryonic development outside of the mother uterus. Our systems are accessible to imaging tools which allow us to interrogate the genetics, metabolomics and mechanics of the embryo in a high throughput manner. Using our systems we are capable to (i) improve embryo culture conditions and (ii) diagnose embryos with improved implantation potential.Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:Mouse and human embryo collection and cultureEmbryo development assessment and manipulationGenomic analysisCell cultureHistology and ImmunostainingMicroscopy imagingRequirements for candidates:PhD in Life Sciences, with at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience4 years experience in mouse embryologyAnimal Experimentation CertificationExperience on human and mouse embryo culture and manipulationExperience working with cell cultureBasic level of genetic analysisFluent level of EnglishBasic microscopy knowledgeCompetencies and skills: Teamwork, Commitment, Proactivity, high motivation and ability to be involved in a multidisciplinary teamWorking autonomouslyWe Offer:Stimulating, interdisciplinary research environment.Number of available positions: 1Starting date: January 2025Working conditions:Full time year contract Open ended.
