This senior position requires a broad understanding of IT technology, service management processes, and stakeholder collaboration within Zurich Group.GTO SW Asset Management consists of an international team of SAM experts across five countries, managing a multi-million-dollar software portfolio and supporting IT stakeholders in achieving their objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in defining and implementing best practices in SAM, primarily within the Microsoft space, at a group-wide level.Your roleAs a Software Asset Management Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:Providing subject matter expertise in Microsoft licensing and operations, including complex licensing topics and producing ELPs for Microsoft software, both user-based and server-based.Understanding Microsoft licensing concepts and product use rights for on-premises and cloud environments.Leveraging Microsoft billing, tracking, and measurement tools such as Azure Active Directory, CMDB, My Access, Intune, and ServiceNow.Ensuring transparency of software contract costs and fair allocation of charges based on usage.Negotiating effectively within the organization and with external vendors.Maintaining stakeholder relationships and facilitating information sharing.Driving initiatives for software savings, developing best practices, and ensuring compliance with budgets and contracts.Managing software contract negotiations, demand management, and liaising with legal and sourcing teams.Your Skills and ExperienceIdeal candidates will have:At least 5 years of experience managing Microsoft software portfolios in enterprise environments, including creating comprehensive ELPs for server-based software like SQL and Windows.Hands-on experience with Microsoft billing, tracking, and measurement tools.Advanced Excel skills (V/H-Lookups, pivots, complex calculations) and experience with P&L calculations and cost accruals.Fluent English skills (B2+ level).Preferred but not mandatory: Deep expertise with Flexera software.Proven personal traits include:Analytical skills, financial acumen, and data processing in global organizations.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.What we offerHome office setup allowance and monthly remote work benefits.Internal and external training programs, including language courses.Benefits such as meal vouchers, insurance, retirement plans, referral bonuses, and exclusive discounts.Participation in company events and a flexible dress code.LI-HybridWho we areZurich is committed to creating a challenging and inspiring work environment, supporting our 53,000 employees worldwide in helping individuals and businesses face risks confidently.
