NW Deployment Build Lead, Network Deployment EMEA

We are looking to hire a motivated Build Lead to join our growing Infrastructure Delivery team. The role encompasses end-to-end ownership of medium to large-scale Data Center deployments including migrations new sites and new regions. This position requires that you will work with minimum supervision to assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our data center deployments as we expand.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of TCP / IP Networking and Infrastructure Technology.Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.Past experience managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows.Strong prioritization and time management ability.AS / BS or equivalent experience in Information Systems Computer Science or Information Assurance.Ability to deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes with an eye on continuous improvement.Willingness to travel up to 50% including some local and international assignments throughout EMEAPhysical requirementsOn-site position requiring the ability to work on your feet and occasionally at height.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong understanding of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS JunOS etc.) and common Networking Protocols (BGP OSPF).Professional experience with IT best practice frameworks (ITIL LEAN AGILE) and Operational Excellence concepts or methodologies.Experience with medium to large complex project scopes and ambiguous details within work environment.Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related fieldExperience in computer networkingExperience working with Linux operating systemsCan lift and rack equipment up to 40 poundsExperience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repairCan work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelinesExperience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressureExperience managing work and priorities through a ticketing systemExperience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologiesExperience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear cable management hot / cold aisle containment)Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
