About the position

As an Data Science Manager, Advanced and Product Analytics, you’ll take your first step into the exciting world of analytics leadership at Cabify. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a strong background as a Senior Data Scientist who’s ready to evolve into a people and delivery leader while still staying hands‑on with data.

You’ll be part of an exceptional team of over 30 SQL and data visualization specialists, and work within one of our 11 analytics problem spaces aligned with business units across the company. In your group, you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Operations, using agile methodologies to deliver high‑impact insights and analytics products.

We believe that great analytics leadership is rooted in great analysis. As such, this role combines strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to mentor other scientists, while still being deeply involved in data exploration and technical execution.

You will:

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize projects, and ensure delivery of actionable insights.

- Be a technical reference in the team, leading complex data initiatives and helping define data models and reporting frameworks.

- Own and deliver analyses that guide business and product decisions, communicating findings clearly to senior stakeholders.

- Own the dashboards and KPI strategy, ensuring analytical solutions drive decision‑making, scalability, and consistency across teams.

- Help design new product features alongside PMs and engineers, from the ideation phase to post‑launch impact measurement.

- Support the development and documentation of robust, scalable, and reusable SQL models and pipelines.

- Mentor Data Scientist and contribute to a strong data culture across your team.

Our ideal candidate has:

- Great alignment with our principles — we take this very seriously.

- 5+ years of experience in Analytics or Data Science, including 2+ years operating as Senior Data Scientist, with a demonstrated track record of leading complex, high‑impact analytical initiatives.

- 2+ years of experience leading data teams or major cross‑functional initiatives, including people management and/or sustained ownership of technical direction, with prior experience as a Tech Lead, Data Lead, or Manager preferred.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large‑scale data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).

- Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.

- Familiarity with product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Datadog.

- A degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

- Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.

- Experience mentoring or coaching other analysts.

- Familiarity with Airflow and Git‑based workflow for data modeling.

- A Master’s degree in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or similar.
