At MedWrite, we are transforming medical documentation with artificial intelligence. By reducing administrative burdens for clinicians, we enable them to focus more on patient care. Following a successful fundraising round backed by Enterprise Ireland, we are scaling rapidly and expanding our engineering team in Europe.

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer based in Spain or Portugal to design, implement, and optimize the infrastructure that supports our healthcare AI products.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate and standardize deployments.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery of AI-driven healthcare applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve system performance and resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between development and operations.
- Ensure compliance, reliability, and best practices in environments where healthcare-level precision and security are critical.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related infrastructure engineering role.
- Proven expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services (experience with AWS is a plus).
- Solid understanding databases and their deployment, scaling, and management.
- Practical experience with automation tools and monitoring frameworks for production environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Problem solving abilities and strong English communication skills.

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
