Experience Required: 4+ years in Murex Front Office (Mid-level consultant)

Role Overview

Elenjical Solutions is seeking a Murex Front Office & Risk Consultant to implement and support client solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience configuring and supporting Murex Front Office & Risk modules.

The role entails

• MX FO configuration and Support

• Derivative Instrument Pricing & Validation

• Curve setup and validation

• E-trade pad configuration

• Pre-trade development

• Simulation / Live book views development and debugging

• P&L explanation

• End user support (Front office and Middle office users)

• Functional Requirement gathering and Business Analysis - Ability to understand and extract client needs.

• Functional support to other streams

• Process Design

Education and requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Financial Risk Management, Financial Engineering

• Knowledge of Financial instruments is a must

• Basic Knowledge of derivative pricing is a must (Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, Money Markets, FX, Commodities)

• Basic Knowledge of financial risk measures is a must

• FRM, CFA, CQF, and PRM are advantageous

• Proficient in gathering requirements and understanding client needs.

• Capable of designing solutions based on specific requirements.

• Contributing to project scoping and effort estimation.

• Skilled in system configuration and software development for functional client solutions.

• Effective planning and task execution abilities.

• Competent in documenting requirements, solutions, and configurations.

• Proficient in defining test cases for various testing stages.

• Ability to train system developers and end-users.

• Capable of providing post-implementation support to clients.

• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and expectation management.

• Excellent prioritisation skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, speaking, and emotion management.

• Team collaboration skills.

Languages

• English: C2 Proficiency

Support Structure

The consultant will work within a team of Front Office specialists, collaborating on client implementations and support. Regular knowledge-sharing sessions ensure the team stays updated on best practices in post-trade processing and collateral management.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Murex Front Office & Risk modules, with a proven track record of successful implementations. Strong technical skills combined with excellent client communication abilities are essential for this role.
