Join our team as a RISK ESG Senior Quantitative Analyst

We're BNP Paribas, a leading global banking company with a presence in 65 countries. Our RISK team is looking for a skilled analyst to develop and implement methodologies to identify, quantify, and mitigate climate-related physical risks and nature risks.

About the role:

- Develop and implement climate risk models and methodologies
- Collaborate with teams to quantify and mitigate physical climate risks
- Contribute to the development of a library of climate hazard and vulnerability models
- Provide advice and support for operational insertion activities

Requirements:

- Strong academic background in physics, mathematics, quantitative finance, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative financial risk modeling, physical climate risk, or climate/environmental research
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and scientific research
- Strong coding skills in Python and knowledge of statically compiled languages
