Overview

AADK Spain invites artists and researchers to apply for the 2026 edition of the Traces / Huellas Residency Programme at Centro Negra in Blanca (Murcia, Spain). This call focuses on trace as a space between presence and absence-memory, territory, and transformation. Residents may explore body, space, landscape, and imprint through research and contemporary artistic practice, with proposals from all disciplines welcome.

Residency details

Residencies run 1–6 months between 1 April–31 December 2026. Participants receive workspace, basic equipment, mentoring, and project documentation, with opportunities to share work publicly through Open Studios and AADK’s digital platforms.

Accommodation & Fees

- Private room in shared house: €1000/month
- Private apartment: €1300/month
- Selected artists may request an AADK invitation letter for external funding.

Eligibility and application

Open to artists of all ages, individually or as collectives. Deadline: 15 February 2026.
