The Role

You will have full responsibility for the product design across our entire suite of maritime software solutions. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, your role is to create intuitive, user-centred experiences that meet the complex needs of our B2B maritime clients. The role is reporting directly to Alex, our Chief Product Officer.

Location: Remote, although you can come to the office in Barcelona where you will enjoy incredible views of the sea and city

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be to…

- Own and drive the entire product design process—from strategy to execution—across our maritime SaaS solutions.
- Work as a true product team member, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to ensure we solve the right problems in the right way.
- Apply user research, testing, and data-driven insights to craft intuitive, user-centered experiences tailored to our B2B maritime clients.
- Define, maintain, and evolve design standards and systems to guarantee consistency across products.
- Champion a culture of continuous discovery and iteration, ensuring our solutions meet both user and business needs effectively.
- Bring design to the next level, leading change and able to lead the future design team.

To achieve this, you will:

- Conduct user interviews and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, complex workflows and high-fidelity mockups to bring ideas to life.
- Prepare detailed design specifications and guidelines for development in collaboration with Product Managers.
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Iterate based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and analytics to continuously refine our solutions.

Good to Know Before You Apply...

- Fluency in English is essential and is the working language in Navozyme.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Designer in B2B SaaS environments.
- Proficiency in design systems and Figma (or similar tools), alongside a solid grounding in agile methodologies and data-driven design.
- A proven track record in creating intuitive user experiences and effectively integrating design feedback into iterative improvements

Highly Desired:

- Fluency in Spanish.
- Previous experience in product management roles.
- Industry-specific design experience, particularly within maritime or related sectors.
- A solid understanding of technical constraints and possibilities in software development.
- A proven track record of leading design initiatives across multiple products.
