About the Role

We are looking for an SAP ABAP FICO Support Consultant to join an SAP support team, working closely with finance stakeholders and technical teams.

The role focuses on support, analysis, and enhancement of SAP FICO solutions, with a strong emphasis on advanced ABAP OO development.

Location: Hybrid model based in Madrid, Spain

Contract: Long‑term contract (no benefits, medical, PTO...)

Responsibilities

- Provide SAP application support with a primary focus on FICO modules

- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP OO solutions to support finance processes

- Analyze incidents, defects, and change requests related to SAP FICO

- Implement fixes, enhancements, and small developments in line with business needs

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to clarify requirements

- Ensure code quality, stability, and compliance with SAP best practices

- Support testing, documentation, and deployment activities

Qualifications

- Advanced SAP ABAP Object‑Oriented (ABAP OO) development experience

- Solid experience in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO)

- Experience working in SAP support environments (incident/change‑based work)

- Ability to understand functional finance requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting productive SAP systems in enterprise environments

- Familiarity with SAP integration points related to finance modules

- Prior collaboration with finance or accounting teams
