Are you ready to become the Accountant Iberia within a top global Animal Health company? We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team in Alcobendas (Madrid)

The Opportunity:

- A role within a top 10 Global Animal Health player, in a market delivering consistent year-on-year growth.
- The chance to drive the Iberian organization as a frontrunner in executing the Company's global strategy.
- Partner with the Country Manager and wider commercial team to provide financial analysis, insights, in direction to ensure the Company meets its financial responsibilities and targets.

The Role:

- Fluent English and Portuguese (Mandatory)
- Be part of a dynamic and energetic leadership team.
- Working with Spain and Portugal
- Collaborate with the global team in accountancy and closings.
- Accounting, Treasury, Annual accounts & Accounting Books; Internal and external audit
- Cost Control
- Creditors& debtors’ conciliation

- IT systems implementation experience and/or project management
- Basic knowledge of t animal health, pharmaceutical or other ethical industry

Your Qualifications:

- Professional accountancy qualification. (5 years´ experience required), with at least 2/3 years of experience of business partnering in a multinational organization
- Fluent English and Portuguese (Mandatory)
- Degree in Administration & Economics
- Mandatory knowledge of Spanish accountancy laws.
- Knowledge of Portuguese accountancy laws is a plus
- Computer literate with a high level of excel skills
- At least 2/3 years of experience of business partnering in a multinational organization
- Ability to effectively to live and promote the dynamic organizational change initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail & level of accuracy.
- First class communication skills, both written & verbal at all levels & to both finance & no financial personnel
