Hutchison Ports BEST, www.best.com.es, the Business Unit in Barcelona of the Group Hutchison Ports www.hutchisonports.com, a mutinational company in the Port Industry (container port Terminals), with global Headquarters in Hong Kong, and European division HQ in UK, is recruiting a: PROJECT BUSINESS ANALYST The position is located in the Port of Barcelona, at "Barcelona Europe South Terminal" (BEST). The position: Integrated within the Finance Department, the Project Business Analyst will support various areas (Finance, Legal, Procurement, Compliance, and others) in day-to-day operations by generating reports, managing technology vendors, handling internal communications, and preparing financial documentation. The role will also analyze current processes and propose new digital tools to improve department efficiency. Main Responsibilities: - Preparation and extraction of financial reports using Business Intelligence tools (Oracle BI). - Daily support to different departments in the development of various projects. - Assistance in managing and coordinating with external vendors for the development of applications aimed at improving internal processes. - Support to the finance team in Excel usage (formulas, basic automation) and preparation of PowerPoint presentations. - Support in internal communications regarding courses, talks, and relevant updates. - Preparation of documentation for grants, tenders, concessions, etc. - Research and analysis of vendors or consultancies for specific needs (training, services, projects, etc.). - Collaboration in corporate initiatives related to operational efficiency and digitalization. - Management of process improvement projects and internal solutions focused on digitalization. Key Competencies: The ideal candidate will have professional experience in finance departments or consulting and have developed the following competencies: - Proficiency in IT tools, with strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Oracle Suite, and especially BI tools being highly valued. - Knowledge of AI tools (preferably Copilot) focused on financial processes. - Project management orientation. - Organizational skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and coordination with internal and external teams. - Knowledge of financial and administrative processes. - Proactivity in addressing operational and technological needs. Personal skills - Organization and attention to detail. - Proactivity in addressing operational and technological needs. - Ability to work in a team and coordinate with diverse profiles. - Clear and effective communication. - Adaptability and quick learning. - Results-oriented and deadline-driven. Education - Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. - Complementary training in BI tools (Oracle BI, Power BI), Microsoft 365, and other technological tools. - Basic knowledge of financial processes and accounting (preferred). - Courses in project management or digitalization (preferred). Languages - Spanish. - English: Advanced level (for internal communication, with vendors, and technical documentation). Availability - Immediate
