About our client :
Our client is building the digital backbone of the electric and shared mobility revolution. Their platform powers EV charging infrastructure and seamlessly integrates with multimodal transport services. As the demand for cleaner, smarter transport grows, so does the need for a robust backend infrastructure. They are currently looking for a Software Architect – Senior Developer who combines deep technical expertise with leadership skills. This person will take ownership of complex backend systems, help define the technical direction of the platform, and mentor a growing team of developers.
The development team is expanding, and they are now seeking a Software Architect to lead and shape their backend systems.
What you’ll do:
As a key technical leader shaping their Charge Point Management Platform, you’ll drive large-scale initiatives from architecture to deployment. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, lead developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure backend systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable. They operate in an Agile (Scrum) environment, moving fast but thoughtfully, prioritizing clean and sustainable code over quick fixes.
What we’re looking for:
- 5-8+ years of software development experience, with a strong backend focus
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience
- Proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring and architectural decision-making
- Deep knowledge of Python and Django, with experience developing APIs and scalable platforms
- Excellent communication skills: capable of explaining, challenging, and leading teams
- Based in Spain and fluent in English
