About

We’re partnering with one of the world’s leading AI companies on a project that uses real-world financial valuation models to improve the reasoning, accuracy, and safety of large language models.

We’re looking for experienced finance professionals who already have Excel-based valuation models sitting in their archives — models built for past roles, interviews, coursework, or personal investing — and are open to putting them to work again.

As a Valuation Expert, you’ll contribute investment-style financial models that reflect how analysts actually think about assumptions, drivers, and valuation logic for public companies.

This is a remote, project-based opportunity, paid per approved model, designed to fit alongside your current role. Global applicants welcome.

What you'll do

- Share Excel valuation models you’ve already built.
- Make light touch-ups if needed to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Contribute models using standard valuation approaches such as DCF, trading comps, transaction comps, multiples, IRR/MOIC, or APV.
- Models should reflect investment or valuation decision-making, not reporting or accounting workflows.

That’s it — we’ll handle the rest, including review and data sanitization.

You are a good fit if you

- Have 2+ years of experience in IB, PE/VC, equity research, corporate finance, or valuation-focused FP&A.
- Have built full valuation models for public companies in Excel.
- Are fluent in Excel modeling and comfortable sharing past work.
- Can communicate clearly in English and deliver polished, self-contained models.
- Can contribute multiple models during the project window.

What to expect

- Onboarding call to align on scope and contribution flow.
- Contributor agreement signed before getting started.
- Model contribution using existing work (minor refinements welcome).
- Review & payment per approved model, with compensation based on model complexity.
