Purpose
The Junior Investment Support Officer will provide operational support to the investment team. This is a broad, hands‑on role that combines day‑to‑day operational and regulatory support to the business. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented and proactive individual looking to develop a career in the Investment Services sector within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment within a leader Web‑3 and Blockchain International company.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure investment activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal and external compliance policies.
- Prepare basic financial models, valuation summaries, and analytical reports for internal review and comply monthly regulatory reports.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining compliance documentation, including KYC/AML records, conflict of interest declarations, and investment approvals.
- Coordinate with compliance officers to implement updates to regulatory requirements (e.g., CNMV, ESMA and other financial authorities).
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping for regulatory filings and assist with routine compliance reviews.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, investment restrictions, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external compliance advisors, auditors, or consultants as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in investment regulation and compliance in the financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of MIFID II, MICA European regulations.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices in investment management, KYC and PI Data management.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial databases and document management systems, Hardware and Software Windows package.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
