Key responsibilities

- Frontend Development:
- Design and implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces with React and TypeScript .
- Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes into functional user experiences.
- Implement state management solutions and ensure maintainable, scalable code.
- Backend Development:
- Build scalable and secure APIs using Python and Django .
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL .
- Contribute to microservices development with Python and Golang where appropriate.
- Configure and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Integrate with external APIs.
- AI-Driven Development (Vibe Coding):
- Collaborate with AI coding assistants to generate, refactor, and maintain production-quality code — with at least 75% of development AI-assisted .
- Focus on architecture, orchestration, and refinement rather than manual coding.
- Design effective prompts, review AI outputs, and ensure generated code meets performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.
- Continuously evolve internal best practices for human–AI collaboration and “vibe coding” workflows.

Must Have

- Experience: 3+ years in Full Stack Development with production-ready applications.
- Frontend: Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript .
- Backend: Solid experience with Python , Django , and PostgreSQL .
- Cloud: Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure.
- APIs: Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Databases: Understanding of normalization and query optimization.
- DevOps: Experience with containerization (Docker ) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaboration: Proficient with Git and agile development practices.

Nice to have

- AI & Automation Tools: Experience with AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot .
- Prompt Engineering: Ability to craft effective prompts to guide AI code generation and debugging.
- Cloud-Native Mindset: Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Performance Optimization: Understanding of caching, async processing, and scalable application performance tuning.
- Testing Culture: Knowledge of automated testing with frameworks like PyTest , Jest , or Playwright .
- UX Understanding: Strong grasp of user experience principles , ability to work directly with Figma , and awareness of customer behavior and UX best practices to ensure intuitive, user-centered interfaces.
- Multilingual Environment: Comfort working in an international, English-first team with async communication.

Work Policy for Barcelona

- This is a on site position based at the Aticco Bogatell coworking space in Barcelona.
- Employees working from the Barcelona office must spend 1 full week at the San Vito dei Normanni (Italy) office every 3 months (i.e., at least 4 times per year).
- The travel schedule will be defined in agreement with the manager.
- Expenses: 100% of travel and accommodation expenses are reimbursed by Spoki.
