📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

Within the Marketing Operations team, reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, your main missions will be to support the growth of all our B2C platforms. You are responsible to define the strategy and, together with your team, ensure the correct implementation of the daily merchandising of all our sites. Additionally, you will follow B2C performance per country and implement action plans where needed.

You will lead a team of 4 B2C Merchandisers (& 3 interns) working on all verticals/businesses across all our B2C countries.

🎯 TASKS

- Merchandising: Define the Group merchandising strategy and lead the implementation of this strategy on all our B2C platforms (11 site IDs).

- Group Merchandising Strategy: Define and improve global merchandising guidelines for homepage & tabs, ensuring all platforms are merchandised following the Group guidelines while accounting for local specificities; handle communication with commercial teams for banner positioning on the HP.

- Daily Attractivity: Optimize daily attractivity of our offer and appropriate traffic allocation between businesses, Veepee products, and marketing support. Develop and use daily quality indicators (B2C segmentation, offer quality score, etc.) within daily attractivity assessment and collaborate closely with planning teams to produce balanced and optimized planning. Lead the development of a new daily attractivity tool.

- Process & Reporting: Build and improve processes (within team and with other departments) and reporting to drive efficiency and insights: implement hiding processes for non‑performing sales on the homepage, for Brandsplace boutiques during flash sales of the same brands, and manage travel homepage visibility.

B2C Performance

- Monitor daily performance per platform (B2C/B2B, platform functioning, etc.).

- Support the team to set up and execute action plans in collaboration with CRM, Trade, and Project teams, addressing trends and supporting growth.

- Identify strategic levers to further improve performance per platform.

Improve Member Experience

- Collaborate with Growth, Data Science, UX, Agency, and CRM teams to improve homepage and tab performance and enhance member experience.

- Express improvement needs for tools, processes, and features on the homepage/tabs (A/B testing, benchmarking).

- Identify and arbitrate optimal merchandising adjustments and mechanisms to support marketing activations.

- Share business objectives with UX and data teams to improve algorithm personalization.

Data Expertise

- Use data to steer the team’s focus and actions and improve business performance.

- Track full funnel performance and web behavior analytics (Mixpanel) to enhance business and platform performance.

- Track HP and tab performance through KPIs such as UV, sales entry rate, UDSV, share of voice per business, € per UV, etc., to assess merchandising performance and steer action plans.

- Collaborate with marketing data & insights and marketing excellence teams to develop and improve marketing reports and dashboards.

- Own reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Team Management

- Lead a cross‑European team of B2C Merchandisers.

- Manage the team to execute tasks, ensuring operational excellence and timely completion.

- Promote efficient teamwork with tools and processes, collaborating with the Marketing Excellence team.

- Coach team members professionally (setting and tracking OKRs) and personally.

- Develop an international mindset to manage a culturally diverse team.

- Act as local HR contact, staying informed of country specificities.

Collaboration with Other Teams

- Collaborate closely with planning & marketing colleagues to optimize platform performance.

- Work with key local stakeholders (commercial teams, Executives, etc.).

- Act as the key spokesperson for the countries regarding marketing topics.

👉 MUST HAVE skills

- Technical skills: Team management & development, strong analytical skills, project management, marketing knowledge (brand & trade marketing, digital marketing), commercial mindset, consumer mindset, proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Office, G Suite), mastery of Veepee tools (Boom, Mixpanel, MicroStrategy, Neolane), professional fluency in English.

- Behavioral skills: Strategic and long‑term vision, business‑oriented with analytical mindset, creative and innovative thinking, proactivity and agility, autonomy, attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills, persuasion, excellent oral and written communication, excellent interpersonal skills.
