About the role:
The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for ensuring the proper preparation, configuration, and maintenance of technological equipment within the supply chain. This position combines technical tasks related to configuration and repair with operational warehouse management, guaranteeing that equipment is delivered to customers in optimal condition and that material flows remain organized and efficient. The role also requires a proactive and participative approach, contributing to the identification of process improvements and supporting continuous optimization of operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive materials from suppliers, ensure proper storage and location within the warehouse, and maintain organization, cleanliness, and traceability of equipment and materials.
- Pick, prepare, inspect, and pack electronic devices to ensure they meet quality and shipping requirements.
- Install and configure software on industrial electronic equipment under supervision (industrial PCs, video recorders, routers…).
- Assist in parameter setting according to technical specifications and engineering instructions.
- Perform basic functional tests to verify correct software/hardware operation.
- Inspect faulty equipment, identify issues, and perform basic repairs when possible, following internal procedures.
- Follow established procedures, safety rules, and quality standards, while actively contributing to identifying process improvement opportunities and proposing initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
- Technical background with basic knowledge of industrial technology and software systems.
- Understanding of equipment configuration, including Wi-Fi networks, IP addressing, and firmware installation and updates.
- Experience or familiarity with software preparation, loading, and handling for electronic devices.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials and equipment.
- Ability to follow technical procedures, preparation manuals, and work instructions accurately.
- Problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and support the resolution of technical issues in electronic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in equipment preparation, configuration, and repair activities.
- Good organizational skills and sense of responsibility to maintain a clean, structured, and efficient work environment.
- Proactive and participative mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and suggest improvements to existing processes.
- Awareness of safety rules and quality standards in industrial or technical environments.
- Basic technical English skills for reading documentation and communicating with technical teams
- Candidate must be based in the San Sebastian area or willing to relocate.
