Who Are We Looking For?

FOSSA Systems seeks an experienced and visionary Head of Sales to lead the global expansion of our satellite IoT services. This senior role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with a deep understanding of Satellite Connectivity, Telecommunications, or SaaS solutions related to IoT or Telecommunications.

As Head of Sales, you will drive revenue growth, establish key partnerships, and lead a dynamic team to achieve ambitious goals in a rapidly evolving market. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar leadership role within the industry, coupled with a proven track record of delivering results in highly competitive environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the global sales strategy for FOSSA's IoT satellite services. Identify and penetrate new markets while expanding existing customer relationships.
- Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management and deal closure. Negotiate and secure long-term contracts with key clients and partners.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing sales team to deliver results. Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture that aligns with FOSSA's mission and values.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product and service innovation. Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to ensure market alignment.
- Partnership Building: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with telecom operators, IoT platform providers, and other stakeholders. Represent FOSSA at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

- >5 years of leadership experience in Sales or Business Development within Satellite Connectivity, IoT Connectivity, Telecommunications, or SaaS solutions related to IoT or Satellite Telecommunications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in complex technical environments.
- Proven experience in building and leading results-oriented sales teams.

Skills & Knowledge:

- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Preferred Engineering Background (Telecommunications, Aerospace, Software) and In-depth understanding of the IoT and satellite connectivity markets.
- Familiarity with key technologies, trends, and regulations in the industry.

Language:

- Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory; fluency in Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
