Quant Risk Analyst – Global LNG & Gas Markets | Spain

We’ve partnered with a major player in the global energy and commodities space that’s looking to strengthen its risk and analytics function with the hire of a Quantitative Risk Analyst . This role sits at the intersection of quantitative modelling, market risk, and global LNG/gas trading – offering exposure to fast-moving markets and strategic decision-making.

What they’re looking for:

We're keen to speak with individuals who bring:

- 2–8 years of experience in a quant risk, market risk, or pricing analytics role
- Strong exposure to LNG or global gas markets (power/gas/commodities experience also relevant)
- Proven ability to build models and tools to assess market exposure, VaR, PnL, and pricing risk
- Strong coding ability (Python preferred) and comfort with large data sets
- Understanding of energy trading structures, contracts, and market fundamentals
- Fluent English; Spanish is a plus
