Responsabilidades
El Lighting Technical Artist apoyará al departamento resolviendo incidencias de entrada, seguimiento de tickets, prueba de nuevas herramientas e iteración con Technical Directors (TDs). Entre sus tareas destacan:
- Soporte técnico a departamentos asignados.
- Depurar problemas con inputs y outputs, como errores en farm, HDAs, herramientas internas o procesos de publicación.
- Optimizar procedimientos departamentales.
- Conocer a fondo toda la pipeline, especialmente el backend.
- Ayudar al supervisor con la documentación de workflows técnicos.
- Participar en reuniones técnicas para mantenerse actualizado sobre nuevas herramientas, pipelines y workflows del estudio.
- Seguir las tendencias tecnológicas para mejorar el entorno creativo y técnico.
- Colaborar con otros TAs, departamentos y TDs según se requiera.
- Acatar instrucciones del supervisor y líderes.
Requisitos
- 3-5 años de experiencia profesional en VFX o animación.
- Al menos 1 año en la industria de animación.
- Capacidad técnica sólida relacionada con animación 3D.
- Conocimiento en áreas de animación 3D: Modelado, Surfacing, Animación, Iluminación.
- Experiencia con Houdini y Solaris.
- Manejo de archivos USD.
- Conocimientos de Python y VEX valorados positivamente.
- Conocimiento de Renderman deseable.
- Linux es un plus.
- Inglés medio-alto deseable.
- Español deseable.
