In OYSHO, we are looking for a talented Senior Designer to join our Activewear Department .
Our location is in Tordera, (Barcelona) from where you will be able to design collections and set the trends on sportswear for all our stores worlwide.
Oysho is a sport and leisure brand committed to innovation, quality and sustainability. We offer a broad range of technical collections designed to deliver peak athletic performance and maximum comfort.
Your main functions would be:
- Interpreting concept & researching trends in favor of main collection assuring the visibility of OYSHO DNA in each garment.
- Solid understanding of fabrics, details, trims, fit and construction.
- Work closely with other members of Activewear team on creating and developing new collections, garments, concepts and patterns from brainstorming the ideas to the final product.
- Draw the technical files for our suppliers to ensure that quality, construction, and fit are aligned with brand needs.

To be successful in this position, you must have a positive attitude, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Furthermore, you must be able to demonstrate:
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position in an international environment.
- Be aware of trends, brands, designers, catwalks: be a passionate fashion and sports lover.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
- The ability to demonstrate outstanding creative instincts and a distinct point of view.
- Very good/ fluent knowledge of English.
