We are seeking an experienced Freelance SAP CO Consultant to join a large international SAP roll-out programme for a leading global organization. This is a hybrid role based in Madrid, with an initial 6-month contract and strong potential for extension, including the possibility of a long-term assignment.

Role Overview

You will play a key role in the deployment of an SAP core model that is already implemented in one European country and now being rolled out to additional subsidiaries. The position involves localization, adaptation, configuration, and close collaboration with international teams, focusing on SAP Controlling processes.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP CO Consultant
- Participation in at least 2 full SAP implementation cycles (design, build, testing, deployment); 2–3 implementations preferred
- Demonstrable experience in SAP roll-out projects
- Strong understanding of CO processes, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Costing (PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Overhead Cost Controlling
- Experience integrating SAP CO with FI, MM, PP and SD
- Proven ability to work effectively within multinational environments
- High level of spoken and written English
- Fluent Spanish
- Spanish nationality or full right-to-work in Spain

Responsibilities

- Analyze existing controlling processes and compare them with the SAP core model
- Adapt, configure, and validate the SAP CO module according to local requirements
- Participate in functional workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design
- Prepare and execute functional tests (UT, IT, UAT) and coordinate with key users
- Produce documentation, user manuals, and process flows
- Support Go-Live activities and provide post-implementation support
- Train and assist end users throughout the roll-out
