Technical Support Specialist - Large Format Printing
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Workplace: Hybrid
Job Function: Service & Support

We are seeking a Level 2 Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Barcelona (hybrid working). You’ll provide troubleshooting, problem resolution, customer escalations, training and advice to service partners and customers across the Spain/Portugal region. Most support activities are undertaken remotely, with occasional travel to customer sites.

What you will do

- Provide advanced technical problem solving to end users, resellers, service partners and the (outsourced) Helpdesk
- Escalate issues to 3rd level Technical Support as required
- Create training content for maintenance and repair on current and new products for service partners; deliver training on maintenance and repair of current and future products
- Undertake investigations with service partners and dealers to maintain and improve quality standards
- Provide on-site support with specific expertise to end users, resellers and service partners when appropriate
- Monitor product failures to identify ongoing problems and provide feedback to the Manager Technical Support and 3rd level Technical Support teams
- Provide technical pre-sales support as required, which may include supporting events and demonstrations

What we ask for

- Technical support experience with printers (preferably large format)
- Education in engineering or a related field (or relevant experience)
- Strong technical hardware & software knowledge in printing technologies
- Knowledge of major operating systems and Raster Image Processor (RIP) software plus image & colour management applications
- Knowledge of main networking technologies
- Ability to deliver training
