At Hays we are seeking a Buyer (Forged Parts) to join a multinational within the industrial sector in Madrid.

Under the supervision of the department head, the buyer will operate at the heart of the company and supplier network.

Key Responsibilities

- The buyer negotiate and ensure the supply of sustainable and high-performing parts/services, respecting the objectives of 'Quality, Cost, and Lead Time'
- The buyer contributes to the - supplier selection process by managing the tender process.
- The buyer is responsible for the performance of their orders, negotiating the technical-economic convergence of tender responses, adhering to various milestones, and ensuring the company’s social and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing within the automotive, industrial, manufacturing, or similar sector.
- Experience in negotiating.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Availability to relocate to Madrid.
