Your mission

As a Product/Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the highest quality, safety, and reliability of optomechanical instruments for critical scientific missions. You will implement and maintain ESA-aligned PA processes, manage risks, and foster a strong quality culture across multidisciplinary teams.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining PA processes in line with ESA ECSS standards
- Identifying and mitigating risks to product quality and reliability
- Overseeing supplier and subcontractor quality compliance
- Managing non-conformance reports, driving corrective and preventive actions
- Preparing and maintaining quality documentation and reports
- Representing PA in project reviews (NRB, IRR, TRR, PTR)
- Leading internal audits and supporting ESA audits

What will set you up for success?

- Experience in product or quality assurance for space systems
- Familiarity with ESA ECSS requirements and quality standards
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail to guarantee mission-critical reliability
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude
- Ability to communicate clearly in an international, multidisciplinary environment
- Fluency in English; Spanish at negotiation level is a plus
