Design Engineer/Technician, with experience in Electrical projects in low-voltage industrial installations, performing the following functions:

- Cable calculations and electrical protections.
- Specifications and data sheets of electrical equipment.
- Cable specifications and data sheets.
- Application of ATEX standards.
- Review of schematics and electrical plans.
- Design of cable routes.
- Approval of supplier documentation.
- Report the activities carried out to the Project Manager/Discipline Lead.
- Report their functions to the client and the Project Managers, as well as the E&I manager.
- Interact with other departments, clients and suppliers.

Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependant) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.

Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering / technical field of study and between two and four (2 - 4) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required.
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Speak Spanish correctly.
- Have intermediate knowledge of English.
- Medium knowledge of Autocad and MS - Office package.
- Experience in companies that have performed engineering services in the chemical, pretrochemical or refinery industries.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of DiaLux or other lighting design softwares.
- Knowledge of Microstation.
