Senior Category & Brand Manager Iberia
**Location**: Madrid
**Contract type**: Permanent, full-time
If you join us as Senior Category & Brand Manager-Iberia you will take the lead in setting up long-term regional strategy, planning and implementation of the PAL category to contribute to Essilor Group Brands.
- Team Leadership & development:
Recruit & develop talent within the team
Support activities developed by the team, help defining priorities and get the necessary resources to execute the plans.
Manage and develop marketing and soft skills of the team.
- Category management:
Plan the medium & long-term strategy for categories & brands based on the HQ global strategy and guidelines and deploy this plan in the market: price, product range, launch activation, communication and trainings.
Prepare the annual plan for the PAL category and the brands - Varilux, BBGR, Kodak, and RBA for Iberia.
Co-develop with the sales team the strategy and the execution plan for the instruments business.
Coordination with the comms team to develop the annual comms plan for category & brands.
- Follow-up P&L evolution and plan corrective actions.
Define annual sales objectives and KPI’s for the categories in charge of, together with the sales team and monitor the business performance.
ROI evaluation of the different activities
- Marketing Mix:
Analyze and Review strategically the structure of the different elements of the marketing mix such as proposition, price, distribution and communication.
- Monitor competition and consolidate consumer behaviour trends
- Compliance: Guarantee the fulfillment of EssilorLuxottica´s compliance standards, and P&V.
What do we expect our future Iberian Manager to have?
Proven experience in Brand/Product management gained in a fast-paced multi-national environment.
Have experience in leading brands and have strong market data analytical skills.
Has experience managing a team.
Is working in an international environment and complexity is a part of your everyday work.
Is managing media budgets and has experience in leading multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Has strong leadership skills and strategic thinking.
Is fluent in English. Some level of Spanish or Portuguese is required.
