in Immunocompromised Pediatric Patient Research Group and related to the UNDINE H2021 grant

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required:
- Degree or Grade in Biosciences (Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Human Biology, Genetics,

etc).
- Master in Biosciences (Biosciences, Biomedicine, Immunology, Genetics, Biochemistry, etc.)
- PhD related with Biosciences (Biosciences, Biomedicine, Immunology, Genetics, Biochemistry, etc.

**Desired**:

- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- Knowledge in primary immunodeficiencies.
- Proven experience in advanced flow cytometry, panel design, equipment calibration.
- Experience in manual and semi-automated western blotting.

- Experience in ELISA techniques for autoantibodies determination.
- Experience in Luminex multiplex assays.
- Experience in cell cultures and cell isolation.
- Experience in laboratory tests related to COVID-19.
- Previous experience with the group or similar groups.
- Ability to answer scientific questions through experimental design.
- Experience in managing and coordinating a research laboratory.
- Management of anonymized patient databases.
- Participation in research projects related to COVID-19.

**Desired**:

- Publications in scientific journals certifying the expertise.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Definition of COVID-19 clinical phenotypes.
- Dissemination of clinical definitions by means of infographic material among the different work packages.
- Collecting clinical data and biological material from COVID-19 patients.
- Updating of the patient data base.
