As a Food and Drink intern you will assist in daily operations and work with customers and Guests as part of your assigned college project to demonstrate your abilities and gain knowledge in the hospitality industry.
**What will I be doing?**
In our F&D department you will serve our guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while having extensive knowledge of menu offerings. You will support the department in the following tasks:
- Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all products
- Ensure mis-en-place is well stocked at all floor stations
- Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues
- Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manor
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
**What are we looking for?**
A F&D intern is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills and values that follow:
- It is necessary to be studying a degree or course related to this internship opportunity
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- English fluently, Spanish and other languages is a plus
To do an internship in our hotel is necessary to be able to formalize an internship agreement with an university or school.
