**Job Description**:
We are currently recruiting a **CAD Technician** specialized in drafting and modelling of Utilities, ITS and/or Rail systems of Linear Infrastructure projects, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering civil engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation and Water projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for a CAD Technician that wants to boost his/her professional career on Civil Infrastructure drafting on a international environment, with a great opportunity to learn new Digital software platforms.

**The responsibilities of this role include**:

- Performs 3D models and 2D drawings of Utilities (Wet and Dry) and CSR (Combined Services Route) infrastructures.
- Works under the guidance and supervision of a Utilities/CSR engineer in international projects, mainly in Australia and New Zealand.
- Be able/willing to learn new software required for Utilities and CSR 3D modeling, like 12d Model software.
- Analyzes and adheres to the project CAD/BIM standards.
- Prepares finished design drawings and models from sketches, notes and layout details in 2D and 3D.
- Works in engineering project collaboration software platforms (i.e., ProjectWise, BIM360, Synergy).
- Self-checks drawings for quality assurance, following the QAQC procedure in force in the project.
- Works in a team-based environment that involves coordination with colleagues based in different offices.

**Minimum Requirements**
- +4 years experience working as CAD Technician on Civil Infrastructure projects, specialized in drafting/modelling of Utilities, ITS and/or Rail systems
- Expert in the use of CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation). Software accreditation will be considered favourable.
- Working experience in modelling using “12d Model” software will be considered favourable or the desire to learn it
- Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise.
- Communicative level of English (oral and written).

**Qualifications**:

- Certificated in a drafting technology Institute Technical or similar Professional Education.
