**Job Description**:
She/he will be part of a team dedicated to perform development projects for IDIADA's clients. In particular, for development projects of body and body parts of the vehicles.

She/he will develop her/his duties working as resident engineer at IDIADA's client premises located in Barcelona (Spain).

Within the development projects she/he is going to be involved, she/he will be responsible for the coordination of the testing activities of the project. Among others, her /his main duties will consist of:

- As member of IDIADA's project team, collaborate with the team and keep informed to IDIADA's project leader
- Collaborate with the client in the coordination activities of the experimentation, preparing and monitoring the test schedules.
- Supervise the level control of the piece to be tested at all times and its supply, with the support of the client and its suppliers.
- Participate in the preparation of the tests, preparing checklists and collaborating in the preparation of the test samples.
- Monitoring and information on any incident during the execution of the tests.
- Documentation, analysis and communication of the test results to the client.
- Participate in the necessary project follow-up meetings with the client and rest of IDIADA's team.
- Keep a constant control of the evolution of the project, possible delays in planning, results of experimentation, proposals for countermeasures in the event of negative experimental results, etc.

**Qualifications**:
IDIADA is looking for an engineer with,

Experience (2 years minimum) in the automotive sector working in development and testing projects related to body and body parts.

Communication and presentation skills

Ability to be a team player

Flexible, analytical, multi-tasking, strong problem solving, reasoning and critical thinking skills

Must be capable of explaining new ideas and concepts so others will understand.

Able to work independently as well as part of a team and demonstrates the ability to successfully learn and advance in the role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present to both internal and external customers

Effective documentation and organizational skills based on results, solutions and tasks to drive outcomes

Fluent in Spanish and English

Microsoft Office suite proficiency

Flexibility to travel to launch locations
