Digital Health R&D’s ambition is to transform Clinical Development and Healthcare Delivery, powered by digital, science and partnerships, to deliver the healthcare outcomes and experience that patients care about the most. In order to succeed, we need to build a scalable, reusable, unified cross-portfolio platform that connects with the ecosystem at large.
**What you'll do**
The role is a key member of the Digital Health Product team, leading the strategy and development of our platform. In collaboration with Digital Health Product teams, IT and key stakeholders, you will lead the strategy, development and execution of the digital platform that takes our products, services and capabilities to the next level. This includes:
- Create an industry leading platform enabling digital health to transform the delivery of clinical trials and patient care
- Work in coordination with the portfolio and product teams to ensure speed to market and speed to integration
- Lead the team in the development of a single, unified, service-oriented platform to support our products
- Ensure our platform strategy is aligned with our vision for the future and portfolio of products
- Drive the roadmap and development of the platform creating maximum flexibility, reusability and scalability
**Major Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Own, drive and implement the Digital Health Platform strategy and vision to enhance the speed to market and value of the Digital Health portfolio, e.g. by
- Managing and evolving our platform strategy from a product standpoint
- Refining the strategy based on customer and stakeholder feedback
- Developing a value oriented, outcomes focused roadmap for the platform
- Enabling the product portfolio to achieve speed to value through reusability
- Partner closely with IT in the development of the platform
- Explore and implement opportunities for ecosystem integration with the platform
- Be a voice to the product and broader R&D community on the value of a platform first approach, driving adoption and engagement of the platform
- Partner with product teams to develop direction for the platform, prioritize capabilities and enable the success of Digital Health through the platform
- Build and lead a successful team
- Lead product operations for the platform
- Lead communication/product activation strategy around the platform
- Lead change throughout the organization
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- 5 years’ experience in digital health
- Customer first approach with experience driving platforms based on user research
- Experience in agile and product management
- Proven experience leading the development of a platform in healthcare
- Demonstrated technical accumen
- Demonstrate strong, communication and relationship building skills with experience of collaborating and sharing knowledge as well as influencing outcomes
- Line management experience, and the ability to build impactful & diverse teams
- Demonstrating strong degree of implementation to convert visions and ideas into concrete actions
- Evidence of shaping and developing innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organisation
- Proven track record in delivering high risk programme/ projects and decision making
- Excellent business engagement and business insight with sensitivity to political/ economic environment
- Significant experience with stakeholders management in a challenging environment leading to strong relationships
- Experience of managing and controlling a budget
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Prior consulting background
- Electrical or Software Engineering degree
- Product operations and marketing experience
