In this role, the Junior Plumbing Technician will perform routine, engineering tasks such as installation, repair and maintenance of various piping systems under the direct supervision of a senior engineer with the goal of developing more advanced applied engineering skills on our projects and products.

**Responsabilities**

You will be involved in:

- Assists senior engineers in the Install and repair pipes, fittings and valves in water, gas and other liquid distribution system to improve product quality and process efficacy and efficiency.
- Cut, thread, join and weld pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Provides general, entry-level support to the engineering department
- Verifies and tests assigned metrics on projects.
- Enters test results into quality control database
- Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with development of appropriate solutions.
- Ensures compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs, functions, products, and areas.
- Identifies and reports problems with specific processes or products to senior engineers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned

To perform in this job, you’ll likely have:

- Bachelors degree or FP in Plumbing, Energy Efficiency, Solar Thermal Energy, or Industrial Engineering or related field
- Knowledge and experience of piping systems, materials and installation techniques
- Knowledge and experience in the use of pipe cutting, threading, joining and welding tools and equipment.
- Experience in welding in inox 304/316
- Hands on work
- Ability to comprehend and follow directions
- Fluent English and Spanish, other language very valuable
