Are you an all-round marketer with hands-on experience in a large variety of aspects of marketing, readily able to develop creative marketing solutions and manage day-to-day operations in your field of responsibility?

BioMar is looking for a Marketing Project Manager who will contribute to the successful implementation of marketing activities related to the Mediterranean area within the EMEA Division. As part of a truly international and dynamic organization, you will play a key role in executing regional marketing operations in your business area. You will contribute to positioning BioMar as the leading brand in aquaculture feeds, and to market BioMar products, concepts, and the corporate brand.

As an experienced marketer, you know how to communicate messages to the right target group through the various communication tools and channels. You have skills for analyzing characteristics of diverse target audiences and market dynamics. With your strong commercial flair, you are capable of identifying and seizing market opportunities, and we expect you to quickly develop a commercial understanding of aquaculture and our role in the value chain.

Primary objectives and responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and drive the implementation of marketing campaigns as well as launch of new products- Supporting commercial activities in the Mediterranean area together with our existing marketing organisation, implement relevant and efficient marketing & communication activities- Act as the go-to person for the commercial teams and attend to the diverse marketing & communication needs, ensuring excellent transformation of knowledge to local markets- Drive public relations efforts with a strong focus on promoting sustainable aquaculture- Secure that marketing activities in the area are aligned with BioMar’s global marketing strategy

Primary tasks:
- Ensure a strong dialogue with local commercial teams- Actively participate in the sales & marketing planning process- Organize successful events from A to Z- Ensure locally relevant content creation- Contribute to the content calendar for SoMe (collaboration with the MPM Baltics)- Secure the required online & offline sales support material is delivered in collaboration with the in-house agency- Ensure a strong local online presence and that local websites are always up to date & utilisation is maximised in collaboration with the in-house agency- Be responsible for the market research & data

Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent business education- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience with similar positions from an international matrix organisation- Strong data-driven mindset and analytical skills for market and product dynamics- Experience working with digital marketing- Fluency in Spanish and English written and oral is required. French will be an advantage

Skills and knowledge:
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced but informal working environment.- Capable of working remote, but with a strong presence in the markets- Strong communication skills

Personal profile:
- Result oriented and self-driven- Good at getting things done- Proactive with a hands-on approach- Strong overview and structured approach- Attentive to details- Capable of creating & maintain strong relationships internally and externally

Job location and travel activity:
- We are looking for a person who is based in or around the Madrid area with a maximum transport time of 2 hours to the BioMar office and factory in Dueñas.- Work location: remote with regular visits to the Dueñas office- 35-40 travel days per year shall be expected - both to local markets as well as Brande, Denmark- Start date: 1st November 2023

In a startup period the position requires the person to be based in Brande, Denmark for a couple of weeks.
