Operational Architect

**Mission & Tasks**
Understanding of customers needs, operational analysis, CONOPS (concept of operations) generation and external customer contact. Capture, formulate, validate and cascade requirements. Conduct trade-offs. Define operational stakeholders and operational functions Business development, transformation process support, operational system engineering.

Operational and strategic system engineering views. Ability to define the system/product context of use and complete stakeholders needs.

Ability to:

- Elicit, analyse and derive requirements from stakeholder needs or upper-level requirements, over the successive system decomposition levels,
- write SMART requirements in compliance with quality criteria, avoiding over
- and under
- specification,
- manage specificities of interface requirements,
- validate requirements, individually and as requirements' consistent sets, by providing evidences that a system implementing requirements will fulfil the defined needs.
- define & justify the requirements allocation to the given system elements taking into account the architectural interfaces and constraints, (e.g. requirements constraining system architecture), ensuring traceability
- manage requirement changes, including impact analysis and requirements baseline establishment.

Ability to identify trade offs criteria and evaluate architecture against those multiple criteria.

**Tasks**:

- Defining Concept of Operations and Design Spaces for Military Air Systems.
- Operational analysis and system engineering. Operational Research Methods applied to Military Air Systems.
- Capture Operational Requirements. Definition of operational scenarios, missions and Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
- Requirements analysis and operational effectiveness analysis. Generation of innovative solutions in complex environments.
- Evaluation and proof of the effectiveness of weapon systems, also for marketing and sales support.
- Conception of trend-setting systems, development of mission-relevant procedures and technologies.
- Analysis of Concepts / System of System in their operational environment by assessing their operational benefit (e.g. Mission Effectiveness, Fleet size,..)
- Effectiveness of systems and components based on customer requirements in coordination with specialists departments.
- Performance of studies and analyses, as well as the defence of the result against internal and external customers.
- Support to Air Segment Configuration Design with Focus on Aircraft Design. Engineering Intelligence & Competitor Platform Analysis.
- Perform functional, logical and physical architecture analysis
- Recent graduate of a n Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in Engineering, valuable 1 year Internship in the company.
- High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode
- Experience in modelling of Operational Architecture
- Experience in Modelling of Ground and Air Assets
- Advanced level in English and Spanish.
- German or French would be an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to propose new ideas.
