Summary of functions:
The supplier development specialist must manage the search, contact and negotiation with suppliers to establish the conditions of quality, price and delivery time in the Otis factory in Vigo, and have the possibility of having dual sourcing in those critical components that require it

This position will give you the opportunity to meet new suppliers, acquire knowledge of different types of mechanical, electrical and electronic products.

It should coordinate with the Engineering, Production and Logistics departments to ensure that the objectives are met

It will analyze in detail the commercial offers.

You will have the Supply Chain and Projects Manager of the Vigo Factory, who will provide you with access to mentoring, training and development opportunities in our highly resilient and changing business.

On a normal day you will have to:
Search and develop new suppliers (local or global)

Manage the request for new offers and follow up on the offers already requested

You will have communications with the different providers involved in the bidding processes.

Analyze the offers received.

Claim offers from suppliers

Make an estimate of the future consumption of the components to be used in the factory.

The functions of this position, will contribute to have a greater variety of suppliers and have dual sourcing and / or better prices, which will bring economic savings to the company

The schedule will be only in the morning with flexibility of entry and exit, to facilitate as much as possible the reconciliation. Physical presence is necessary

What you will need to succeed

Technical training and good analytical skills are needed to study the bids to be received.

Capacity for negotiation, communication and teamwork in a transversal way.

Microsoft Office 365 domain

Ability to adapt to changes and multitasking

Very valuable the domain of English.
